The construction of the building started in 1500 and has continued until today. It is an example of architectonical integration of different styles through different epochs:\u00a0 you can find a\u00a0<strong>roman house<\/strong>,\u00a0<strong>the cloisters<\/strong>\u00a0and a\u00a0<strong>roof garden<\/strong>. The monastery is a\u00a0<strong>UNESCO World Heritage Site<\/strong>.
