We inform you, given the adverse weather forecast, that the guided tours scheduled for 19, 20 and 21 January at the Benedictine Monastery are suspended. We also inform you that the bookshop in going to be closed.
Find out the history and the late-baroque architecture of the Benedictine Monastery of Catania with guided tours held by Officine Culturali, with all its unique style. Guided tours will let you see the majestic and hidden spaces of the building, a time travel through the monks’ cloisters, the XVI floor basement with presence of archaeological remains of Roman houses, the Novices garden at the top of 1669 eruption, the renowned XVIII century kitchen and the magnificent monumental staircase.
English guided tours are everyday: check the hour and the spots available for the day you want to visit and purchase the ticket online.
